| Star's Hollow
|
Star's Hollow is located in a quiet neighborhood about a mile within walking
distance to shops, restaurants, trails, and town. This cozy cabin sleeps 8
in three bedrooms (a queen bed in each, plus a sofa sleeper in the living room.)
With a large, river rock fireplace, overstuffed furniture, flat screen TV, Blu-ray
player and cable TV, the comfy living room is a perfect setting for family
gatherings. The recently remodeled kitchen is furnished with just about
everything you need to create delectable meals. The dining table seats 8
as well.
Built in 1942, the cabin's original bedroom is downstairs. The two spacious
upstairs bedrooms were built into the attic space later and feature sloped
ceilings, dormers with bench seating, and unusual shaped doors. The
upstairs half-bath is unique, built in the original 6 foot high gable. A
screened-in porch offers a view of the half acre wooded back yard, which borders
a seasonal creek, a wonderful place to relax during twilight watching the sunset
and/or stars. At night, a gap in the tees allows for a spectacular
view of the night sky with almost no light pollution interference.
With wood paneling throughout, this cabin offers the best of both worlds: rustic
mountain living with updated decor and modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi
Internet access. Level parking off plowed roads makes Stars Hollow easy to
access all year around.
For dining out, Idyllwild offers several ethnic restaurants, a movie theater, art galleries, specialty/curio shops, grocery stores, churches, jazz and contemporary music cafes, and the renowned Idyllwild Arts Campus offering art exhibits and concerts including the now famous Idyllwild Jazz Fest.
Treat yourself to an Idyllic retreat among nature at it's best...
